Security Statement

Secure Login

Passwords for accessing our Internet Banking system are maintained on a secure server. To begin a session with the bank's server the user must key in a User ID and a Password. In the event the customer makes five consecutive failed attempts, access will be automatically blocked requiring the authorized user to come into the bank to reset the password before entry into the system.

Secure Data Transfers

Once the Internet banking session is established, the user and the server are in a secured environment. The Bank's Internet Banking server uses the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol to secure and encrypt information exchanged between itself and client browsers while accessing the Internet Banking system. The Internet Banking Server uses128-bit encryption keys to provide the highest level of encryption capability.

Secure Environment

The Bank ensures a secure environment for the Bank's Internet site and its users by employing the newest technology in firewall and network security. The Internet Banking application is monitored and recorded, with every logon, successful and failed, reviewed to pinpoint any intrusion attempts. Accounts are locked out after multiple logon attempts and if necessary, these logon attempts maybe traced back to the source by the user's IP address, request time, etc. The Internet Banking application provides a secure environment by protecting customer data both intransit and on the Data Server. The combination of the filtering router, the tightly secured Web server, the firewall and the hidden Data Server make this environment extremely secure.
